#3 If you want something you never had you must be willing to do something you have never done.

AKA…don’t be afraid of change. Easier said than done, I know but the results of taking what you want and desire are much more fulfilling than the adverse. Your abilities are never in question as much as your willingness. The world was created with an abundance of opportunities and chances, some are still sitting there waiting for us to make a move.

Quitting my job as a principal was the biggest and most abrupt change I have ever made in my life, and I have never felt more empowered and alive. I always knew I had purpose, and I knew I was taking the easy way out of my civic duty by being a principal. I was born to help people, not some people, ALL PEOPLE. I aways knew it, but I grew up in a society that practically shuns people who don’t work typical 9-5’s with a set career. Knowing those odds and possible outcomes, I still took the chance. Even though its only been a few months, saving lives beats principalship any-day!

It will never be easy to change, but we wont be here forever. Take it one day at a time, soon enough everything you do will-be something you have never done before.

Joyful Thoughts Question: Do you want to be known for having skills (abilities), will (the desire), or both?
