Consistent Joy Factors, Can Change Your Life!

Use Joy to Change!

There is great power in knowledge. The thing is where that knowledge comes from doesn’t matter. Be it experiences, unwarranted circumstances, or the experiences of someone else, knowing is half the battle of success.

Let’s engage in a series of Joy Factor’s that can help induce joy in your life.

• Words are Powerful, Use them Wisely

It’s easy to think of the words we speak to other people, when we see this. The truth is …. “the words that come out your mouth you’re the first to hear. “Speak words of beauty,……” (India Arie- Get it Together) Words are the most powerful force in humanity. They can be used for encouragement or to be destructive, having the energy and power to uplift or destroy.

Like in everything choosing to speak light in your life and the life of others is just that A CHOICE! Personally, I have been spoken ill to/of too many times to remember, funny thing is I can’t ever remember what was said. There is a certain confidence that builds a mental brick wall against anything that is not applicable to you or your life. Those negative words, I CHOSE to not make them apart of me.

Instead, I strove for the opposite, and flipped the negatives to positive. It was will power and mind over matter. For some that may look and sound like daily affirmations, for some it may be silence to refrain from speaking negativity, some may not have the positive vocabulary necessary. What ever it is, you have the power to improve.

What will you commit to start improving?

I couldn’t agree more. Words do have power. I have witnessed their ability to shape a mindset or break confidence. However, it has recently become my opinion that only genuine words drive reality. A person who believes in you can speak life into you, your mindset or your situation, but if a person does not believe in you their words can be lifeless! All their positivity become vague ramblings.

My challenge to myself is to build my faith in people and myself so that even though the truth I speak into their life may surpass their current reality, it is very present and accessible in their future!

    Excellent thoughts!

“Always be impeccable with your word. Do not use your word against yourself or others (e.g. gossip). Say what you mean and mean what you say.”

All mantras I’ve adopted for my own life from the book The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. Mantras that have affected my life positively and definitely fall under Humanity 360’s mantra, “Words are powerful, use them wisely.”

    Thanks for the share.
